Welcome Taz!

Hey, that's kind of cool! B-)

Whould you post some more information about your setup? Used Receiver, Video RX/TX, Cam, ..
Wow, thats very small!
Yes, please post more information about your project!

Best regards

Hi Taz,

Doing FPV on such a small heli is kickass, definitely post some more setup info and pics.
With such a small size it must be very convenient to take it along anywhere and the size is definitely not as threatening as bigger helis.

Sometime down the road I would like to start doing FPV on my 450 and 500 sixe helis, but I cannot stand the thought of having my HDX500 with carbon blades sneaking up on me Smile So I will probably start with 450 although 500 is so much more solid in the air.

Hi,

for the setup it's this one

RC922 fastshark ccd cam (Kx132)
tx 1.2 ghz 100 mW (need Ham licence)
OSD Remzibi OSD (see post on rc groups)
All is working in 5V from the esc Bec

Radio Fast 2.4 ghz futaba t12fG

Antenna is an homemade dipole adjusted for the fréquency I use

Flight time with 1300 mah Batery is 8 minute @ 3000 rpm with stock motor and esc with 15 gear on motor.

can flight 10 minutes with 1600 mah Batery.

It's fully 3D capable in FPV , I done some video it's working good

so we can slow the head speed to do some normal fpv flight to have more long flight.

great config, no working on a small UAVP quadrocopter.

Mikropter is next step when $$$ came to my pocket Smile

trex 600 E for sale Wink
Hi Taz!

You have a nice setup.
I am thinking about your power setup via your 5v esc bec. Sure, this is the lightest way for this small helicopter. Did you get interferences from the esc? I am using for powering my fpv setup with an external bec to get lower glitches into my video signal Wink

Did you have a video with FPV T-Rex 250?
Hi

there is no noise on the video with align esc.

the bec of the aling esc is just enought to power all the fpv equipement and servo, gyro , receiver.

this bec is linear , and get prety warm when power for a long time .

I'm going to instal a cooler on it for summer flight. Air cooling is enought.

for pulsed bec , it's the good way but it need to be good filtered . If not lie cheap chiness product , video will be jamed or noisy. So I prefere linear Bec for this reason.

for video with fpv T250 , see post 1

for ohter pict , sorry I can't send them from my job ... Sad Proxy brother is watching you Smile

cheers
Ahh thanks for the informations.
Haha, can´t see the video in first post, sorry, not allowed to view from my job Big Grin Have to do this in the evening.
Proxy brother is watching me, too!

Did you use the stabilizer on your T-rex 250 ? like helicommand or etc
Hi Taz beautiful heli and set up. Can you post some information on the dipole you made for 1.2 ghz .
