Hi all,

I just came across site the other day from China. The company is call Infinity-Hobby. I have never order from them so I can't say how this company is.
I've been told the CYCLOPS OSD has been out for a couple months now.

The price seem to be good too.
The CYCLOPS OSD System: $205.00

The CYCLOPS Auto-pilot Module: $89.95
Will it work with other OSD system? Don't know.

Navigation points fly, at most 4 pints support.

Auto waypoint switch function; Automatically go to the next waypoint or fly around the current waypoint until manual syitch to next one.

Auto return to base function.

This is just a simple system.

Or you can buy both system together for : $279.95, And save $15.00

I just now found the manual online.

CYCLOPS OSD Manual

Autopilot System Manual

New Manual
Hi, it looks it's using the same OSD processing chip as Remzibi OSD (MAX7456). In fact, I would prefer Remzibi OSD - it's cheaper, has it's own nice configuration software and you can use autopilot features with Ardupilot. And, what's more, I think Remzibi has better support...
Hi Jame,
I'll have to agree, The Remzibi OSD is cheaper $114.00 And I understand on the use of the OSD.
Now the auto-pilot. I'll admit I'm at lost about this, And this is my understanding on what I read about both system. The Ardupilot cost around $270 for the basic autopilot kit, plus another $110 if you want to add wireless telemetry. Plus you can set many way points etc.

The CYCLOPS Auto-pilot Module: $89.95 Has only 4 way points, It only control the rudder and elevator and the plane should have dihedral wings. And as far I understand nothing more to buy. Like you do with the Ardupilot.
Hi Dennis!

Nice presentation.
I do not know, if I would buy this OSD System, but It looks like a nice and cheap "accessory" to have a return to home function in case of a problem.
At this moment I don´t know a cheaper version.

By the way, I can´t find information about the Cyclops OSD in any other forums...

Happy New Year!
Heiko
Hi Heiko,

I have search the web too. I did run across a Chinese forum but people there were looking for info too, And there are some video that I came across of the OSD and Autopilot in use But nothing more.

Where do you found this info ?!
Ardu is $25 only, plus $46 the FMA sensors, if you program it to not use Z sensor.

But I agree that Cyclops AP is a joke... without any leveling system...
Everything you need for a complete ArduPilot setup

At the bottom is where I got the price info.
With the XY and Z sensors not use $114.
come to, $156. plus another $110 if you want to add wireless telemetry.
I'm not a tech to type in all the codes to set the way points etc.
Just way over my head, I would like to see a window base system where I just point and click lol...
Are you using this system?
I read the CYCLOPS Auto-pilot Module manual again, just to be sure. Its just a very simple system with nothing more to buy or add.

For me that is, I don't need more than 4 way points.
Ok, here I Germany autopilots for rc aircrafts are forbidden, so this could be my rescue system like return-to-home.
Because of this regulation I only need one waypoint for return to home.
Are there some other stand alone return-to-home systems on the market?

I don't know, I'm going to write to Infinity Hobby, to see if the CYCLOPS Auto-pilot Module will work with other OSD system.
