Hello all

Yesterday i recieved my FPV gear from spain.
All the stuff was allready connected and tested in the box.
Today i build the gear on my GL450C helicopter.
A big problem was the space i needed on this small helicopter.
Luckely i had a old 500 size helicopter and used its landingskid.Now the rest went very fast.
After installing all the hardware we putted the signal on my 42"big LCD TV to setting up the ezOSD.
That was really great.

Ok then we putted on the goggles on and made a little maiden flight in the livingroom (2x2 meters)
Its very strange to see.
Next weekend i hope to make the real maiden flight with 2 radio's conneted.

Hi all again

I maide my first flight with the cam together with my friend on a trainer cable last weekend.
Its very difficult to fly a helicopter looking trough a Camera.
I went all over the field and not able to hover steady.
Today i bought a Spartan AP2000i and hope to hover steady and fly arround a little without a trainer next to me.

Finally having the AP2000i + FMA sensor installed.
Its not a piece of cake to install a AP2000i for the first time.

This Autopilot is just a Advanced CCPM mixer.
So i had to go back to basics.
I thought there was a gyro inside but i was wrong.
I needed to buy a FMA-sensor to get the stabilizer working.
Tonight i want to make a test flight hope if the stabilizer works.
When that works i can fly FPV alone for a few minutes.

My next problem is that the helicopter is to heavy now.
Because of that i will add a stronger brussless motor.

Also im still working on my groundstation.
The only problem i have is capture the video with my laptop because of my pcm-cia usb2 card.
I have a 3 leg where i can put in my 1.3G reciever
A old laptop with a pinnacle Dazzle DVC100 to capture video's
And my Fatshark 2.4G googles.

Soon i will make some pictures

How heavy is your heli now?

Today again a very good day for me.
The spartan AP2000i +FMA sensor works great.
I made my maiden and captured it with my spycam.
Do not look at the time and date the are not right.
Also these are my first Nose-In flights for real.
