Some of the main things I'm looking for in an OSD is to display the mah capacity remaining, flight timer, altitude and possibly GPS to display the direction to home. If I were to choose the eagletree OSD pro what additional extras would I need to function the above features?

I would had assumed flight timer would had been one of the most simplest tasks of any OSD. Looking at the specs the datalogger v3 weighs 20grams and so does the OSD. Im starting to think this is not so suitable for my small heli. Maybe flytrons simpleOSD XL edition is a better way to go. Anyone have any reviews of it?
there is a review of the simpleOSD here on FPV-community. check the reviews section. For what you need it to do, the OSD Pro is way too complex. EzOSD or SimpleOSD all the way.
