so i was browsing hobbyking and realized that they just released a new plane. its the GlobalHawk UAV w/70mm EDF Kit which is going for 50$ its got 2 meter wing span so it looks like it will glide... i like the fact that the edf is in the back so i wont have to see any prop... what do you guys think? i want to hear ur opinion...

That looks awesome! Wonder if the wings could be rigged with magnets like my Easy Star for quick disassembly...
I don't like the idea of EDF in such plane. EDF is very ineffective propulsion system. With pusher conversion it may be very good plane...
I completely agree. External prop wouldn't take too much from aesthetics but would certainly provide more efficient power. I would have to play with the actual model in my hands to see what I could get to fit, but I cannot imagine it would be that hard to do. Who knows when Hobby King will actually have them in stock!
