Hello all

here is a nice and cool flight with my easystar, next to "Alpes d'huez"
(very popular ski result in winter in france and also popular for "Le tour de France" in bike in summer).

my setting are :
- easystar modified in 3 axis + brushless engine
- Lipo 3S 1800 mah hyperion
- PAN Hitec servo + servo extender
- Kx-132 sony
- Tx video 1.3 ghz + lipo 3S 800 mah hyperion for Txvideo+Cam
- Fat sharck google + FPV station eagletree + 2 x Rx 1.3ghz + 2 omni in an aluminium box powered by lipo 3S
- GO pro HD
- Radio futaba T10 2.4ghz and Rx in 2.4 into plane
I'm waiting for the UHF long range system (ordered) in 433 mhz for radio

Heart Wow, amazing clarity. Does the image in your goggles look that clear (HDish)? I've been considering getting a GoPro HD...
hello,
non, what you can see is recorded by gopro HD. i use a Sony Kx-132 cam so image is lower quality.
Next step will be to use go pro as cam.

Nice video but Trappy said something about not being able to use the GoPro as the flying camera . Maybe some one here remembers ?
I think the issues were about GoPro having an internal battery (1 extra battery to fly with, big issue?) and the video cable connection to the camera not being trust-worthy.
Personally I see neither as an issue. Extra batt doesn't weigh much, and you can always fix the cable to the camera so that it doesn't get loose.
Is that what it was ? I would not see that as to big of an issue if like you said it can be fixed . I have not read about them yet but looking to get one soon .
Thanks
in fact you can use the GO pro as camera for FPV, easy to do ( not doned at this moment because no time to do it = Kids !!)
but you will not have this image into the google bacause the google are not supported HD at this moment.
so you can use go pro to record and in the same time to use it as a camera link to Tx video.

i will try soon.

Bye

The biggest problem of the gopro (and of any hd camera) is that it doesn't handle light very well. Look at trappy's storm video. The gopro is almost black, but his fpv cam was clear as day.
