Ok, Download the FREE PDF file and print scale 1:1

Now print these off, you will need them

Off We Go......

YOU WILL NEED:

You Will Also Need:

Yes FatShark Box foam Tongue

Now Cut Out the templates with a SHARP blade, use a new blade to get a nice cut!

Now spray some mouting spray onto the back of the template

(DO THIS OUTSIDE WEAR A MASK - BE SAFE)

Mount to foam:

Use a VERY SHARP brand new blade with a metal rule - and watch your fingers, cut slowly

Now after cutting you should have 2 templates (Top and bottom)

Mount the TOP layer onto the bottom using the spray mount again

Now use double sided tape......

Done....

Very comfortable, and the top layer have airholes under the eye so it will not steam up when flying! the foam does look thick yes but it compresses alot to get a nice snug and comfortable fit!

yes it would not allow me to send dxf files!

tomorrow i work on v2 for people with different ipd settings! also i have got "memory" foam at work to try

Whats Memory Foam??
isn't it good enough. to cut the foam of the V1.0 in the middle so you'll be able to adjust the IPD settings

you know you get pillows for sleeping on, the foam "moulds" around your neck and head and supports you? its very dense and keeps the shape for about half an hour!

Really comfortable! maybe i will sleep when flying

there is just enough room for change of ipd settings! i will amend my template so there is a choice!

Oh yes I now it thats relay comfortable!!! My brother has one of these pillows

here it is. fits good. I just hope the double sided tape holds it

I couldn't find the mounting spray you used, so instead I used glue. As you can see this isn't the best solution because I pressed both foams together when the glue was still fluid and in the nose region you see a permanent impression. but apart from that it does the job.
You can also use scissors to cut the foam. It's easier than a sharp knife.

Wow good job!!

This is the first time anyone has followed one of my modifications! I am so happy now!

When you first look you think the foam is really thick, but when you put them the are really snug fit around your eyes!!

The templates are ok for your eye settings??

Yes the double sided tape is not the best i will come with a new idea!
